The head of our state signed a resolution “On organization of activities of the Union of composers and bastakors of Uzbekistan”.

According to the decree, the Union of composers of Uzbekistan was reorganized into the Union of composers and bastakors (melodists) of Uzbekistan.
Priority attention within Union's activities is focused on the active participation of non-governmental organizations, creative unions and other organizations in the cultural and public life of the country, preservation of national and universal values, establishing close interaction with state bodies.
