Dutch KLM plans to open flights to Uzbekistan

Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Benelux countries Dilyor Khakimov met with Director of International Affairs of the Dutch Airline KLM, Jan Vriburg.

The sides discussed the prospects of establishing cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Netherlands in the field of air transport and the new opportunities that have emerged against the background of the liberalization of the tourism industry of our country, as well as the latest changes in the aviation industry.

Highly appreciating the large-scale reforms currently taking place in Uzbekistan under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, KLM representative stressed that new opportunities for foreign partners allow today to take a new approach to cooperation with Uzbekistan.

In this regard, KLM is interested in working with the Uzbek side on new routes connecting airports in the Netherlands, in particular, Schiphol, through Uzbekistan with other countries of Central Asia, the far East region and India.
