Medium-sized enterprises set to appear in Uzbekistan
The System impact assessment regulations portal has posted the draft decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On measures for radically improving the support system for the development of entrepreneurship and improvement of business environment" for public comment.

According to the document, from 1 January 2018, another form of business entity - medium-sized enterprises is set to be organised. Each of them will be able to employ up to five hundred people.
The project foresees that medium-sized enterprises have the right to use simplified tax system instead of generally established taxes and payments. They will pay only a single tax payment at the rate of 10 percent, and the unified social payment at the rate of 20 percent.
