Aziz Abdukhakimov appointed Silk Road University Rector
Deputy Prime Minister Aziz Abudkhakimov has been appointed rector of the Silk Road International Tourism University in Samarkand
Previously Aziz Abdukhakimov served as Labour Minister and head of the Privatisation Committee. In August 2017 he was appointed chairman of the State Tourism Committee.
Since May 2018, he has been Deputy Prime Minister for education, healthcare and sport.
The Silk Road International Tourism University was established in Samarkand last year under a 28 Jun Presidential Resolution.
