The Ministry of defence of the Republic of Uzbekistan on August 17 held a meeting with the delegation headed by Defense Minister of Kazakhstan Saken Jasuzakov.
The meeting focused on the current state of cooperation between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the military and military-technical spheres and the direction of military education. The parties exchanged views on the military-political situation in the region.
Following the meeting, the parties approved a cooperation plan between the defense ministries of the two countries aimed at further development of cooperation in the defense sector.
