"Road map" on cooperation of State Committee with UNWTO determined

The ways to promote Uzbekistan at international tourism market through the development of a tourist brand of the country was one of the key themes. The sides underlined the possibilities of covering and promoting the national brand in the international media - both traditional and electronic.
A separate topic of conversation was devoted to the improvement of the visa regime, including through the introduction of the procedure of issuing e-visas. It does not provide for the abolition of visas for foreign tourists, but all of the procedures for their issuance will be made in electronic form.
UNWTO also intends to assist in the training and retraining of personnel in the tourism sector. The organization plans to establish permanent internships for specialists in the Secretariat of the World Tourism Organization.
