Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulates Sadyr Zhaparov on winning presidential elections
Mirziyoyev congratulated his new colleague on convincing victory in the last presidential election, as well as on the successful holding of a referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with President-elect of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov on Monday.
Mirziyoyev congratulated his new colleague on convincing victory in the last presidential election, as well as on the successful holding of a referendum on amendments to the Constitution of Kyrgyzstan.
They expressed confidence that the results of the most important political events will lay a solid foundation for ensuring stability, improving the welfare of the population and sustainable development of the country.
In turn, Sadyr Zhaparov expressed gratitude to the President and the multinational people of Uzbekistan for their assistance to fraternal Kyrgyzstan in overcoming the consequences of modern challenges and combating the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
