Uzbekistan’s internal roads to start using concrete

By a presidential decree of May 18, the construction and repair of internal roads with cement concrete pavement will be carried out already this year, in a cluster way. More than 2,606 km of internal roads to be concreted in Uzbekistan in 2022

According to the document, in Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, it is planned to build internal roads with cement concrete coating with a total length of 2,606 km.

Wherein:

- address lists are formed by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, formed by the khokimiyats of the regions and the city of Tashkent based on the proposals of the leaders of the sectors (taking into account the opinion and requirements of the public on the ground), and are approved by the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the Kengashes of people's deputies of the regions and the city of Tashkent;

- involvement of design organizations, coordination of technical specifications with responsible organizations, organization of the development and conduct of state examination of design and estimate documentation is carried out by customer organizations;

- the developed design and estimate documentation and the formed prices pass the state examination through the electronic platform "Shaffof Qurilish";

- the general contractor for the construction of internal roads with cement concrete pavement is determined by the cluster method by selecting the best proposals.
