Pisa University intends to establish its branch in Tashkent
A delegation from the University of Pisa is also scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in the near future to discuss organizational issues related to the implementation of this project.
The rector of the University of Pisa, Professor Paolo Mancarella has announced the intention of establishing a branch of the University in Tashkent. He said that it will be the first branch of the University established outside of Italy.
The training of personnel will be carried out taking into account the needs of Uzbekistan for highly qualified specialists. At the incipient stage, it is planned to launch bachelor's programs that include geology, geophysics, energy, chemistry, biotechnology, information and communication technologies, economics and business management.
A delegation from the University of Pisa is also scheduled to visit Uzbekistan in the near future to discuss organizational issues related to the implementation of this project.
