President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expresses condolences on Lola Murotova’s death

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev expressed condolences on the death of Hero of Uzbekistan Lola Murotova, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, head of the Nurli Obod farm in the Altyaryk district of Fergana.

The head of state stressed that the agricultural sector of our country suffered a heavy loss.

On May 30 this year, at the age of 64, after a serious illness, an outstanding farmer, the head of the Nurli obod farm in the Altiaryk district of the Ferghana region, a Hero of Uzbekistan, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, a well-known public figure Lolahon Murotova, passed away.

Lolahon Murotova, who was proud of the whole country, was born on March 9, 1958 in the Altiaryk district of the Fergana region. After graduating from high school, she began her career as a machine operator in the collective farm "Nurobod" of the Altiaryk region, connected her life with the leading sector of the economy - agriculture.

Having deeply studied the secrets of agriculture in her youth, Lola Murotova selflessly worked on the collective farm as the main contractor, head of department, chairman of the farm, gained extensive experience in the field of labor organization, obtaining high yields, and effective management of the economy.

With the opening of wide opportunities for the farming movement, a skilled and enterprising farmer was one of the first in the country to establish the Nurli Obod farm and, as a true mistress of the land, made a significant contribution to the development of the farming movement in our country and bringing it to a new level.

Lola Murotova, who always strived for innovation in her work, with good initiatives set an example for all farmers, especially young people, worked with special zeal and enthusiasm in the conditions of New Uzbekistan. She has formed a unique experience in applying advanced agricultural technologies, modern agricultural management methods, rational use of land and water resources, and educating the younger generation of farmers.

With her activities, she showed a true example of love and devotion to the Motherland, her profession. Thanks to precisely such noble qualities, Lolakhan-opa has become a real symbol of the Uzbek woman for all our people.

The heroic farmer, who devoted her life to serving the people, took an active part in public affairs. Her multifaceted activity in this direction was clearly manifested in good deeds in teaching young people and women modern professions, providing them with jobs, helping them find their place in life, comprehensively supporting families in need, improving villages and mahallas, and improving the living conditions of the population.

As a deputy of the Ferghana Regional Kengash of People's Deputies, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, L. Murotova took an active part in making important decisions on the development of the country's regions, accelerating the ongoing reforms.

The merits of Lolahon Murotova to the country and people were worthily appreciated by our state.

She was awarded the orders "El-yurt khurmati", "Fidokorona hizmatlari uchun", she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan" and the highest title "Hero of Uzbekistan".

The bright memory of a wonderful farmer, a well-known representative of agricultural science and a public figure, a caring mentor of youth, a modest and sincere person, an outstanding daughter of our people Lolahon Murotova will forever remain in our hearts.
