Uzbekistan to spend 4.05 trillion soums to create "Modern schools”
The Ministry of Education jointly with the Ministry of Construction by March 1, 2020, mandated to develop and approve model projects of construction and reconstruction of "Modern schools". New institutions must comply with foreign experience and climatic conditions of the country in providing alternative energy sources and environmentally friendly materials, energy saving and advanced technology and engineering solutions.
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a Resolution "On measures to create "Modern schools".
"Modern schools" will be built and equipped on the basis of advanced architectural solutions and energy-saving technologies.
4.05 trillion soums will be allocated for the construction, reconstruction, repair and equipping of secondary schools within the framework of the "Modern school" project in 2020-2022.

At that, until March 1, 2020, new standards for equipping secondary educational institutions with modern furniture and equipment, educational and laboratory equipment, teaching materials, computers and multimedia, as well as video surveillance will be developed and approved.
