Two Uzbek representatives won prizes in the international competition among disabled chess players

Our compatriot, Akhadkhon Kimsanboyev won 2nd place in the competition between blind and visually impaired chess players of the First Chess Olympiad among disabled people held by the International Chess Federation (FIDE) in Belgrade.

Akhadkhon also became the youngest participant in the competition. In addition, Marcel Shayusupov was noted as the youngest participant in the competition among the hearing impaired.

In the end, the national team of Uzbekistan took 6th place overall.
