Uzbek-Korean forum on free and open source underway
Uzbek-Korean forum on free and open source software is underway in Tashkent. The event aims at promoting the domestic software market by studying the experience of using open source software for electronic government of the Republic of Korea. Korean experts presented the final solutions on open source, available for use in automated and intelligent systems.
Uzbek-Korean forum on free and open source software is underway in Tashkent. The event aims at promoting the domestic software market by studying the experience of using open source software for electronic government of the Republic of Korea. Korean experts presented the final solutions on open source, available for use in automated and intelligent systems.
The event was organized by the Ministry for development of information technologies and communications of Uzbekistan jointly with the National Agency for development of industry of the Republic of Korea. The first day of the event was attended by representatives of ministries, agencies and software developers. Korean experts presented reports and presentations on national experiences in software development. In particular, they presented reports on the use of open source software in a big data environment, as well as in the e-government system of Korea.
