Uzbekistan ranks 69th in the list of world's strongest passports
Uzbekistan took 69th place among 96 countries in the "Passport Index" rating of international passport strength compiled by the Canadian consulting company "Arton Capital".
When compiling the rating, the company evaluated passports based on how many countries their holders can visit without a visa or by obtaining a simplified visa.
Citizens of Uzbekistan can visit 24 countries without a visa, 43 countries require a visa, and two countries require an expected arrival time. A common entry visa is required to visit 129 countries.
The most powerful passport holders in the world are citizens of the United Arab Emirates. There is a visa-free regime for them in 118 countries, and visas can be obtained upon arrival in another 55 countries.
Russia has officially become the leader in the CIS, 35th place among 123 countries. Citizens of the country can visit 79 countries without a visa, and 44 with an arrival visa.
