On March 4, Tashkent's Pakhtakor defeated Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal 1-0 in the first leg of the AFC Champions League Elite Tournament round of 16. The only goal of the match was scored in the 29th minute by Pakhtakor's legionnaire Flamarion, with an assist from Brian Riascos. The score remained unchanged until the final whistle, securing Pakhtakor's victory. The return match between the two teams will take place on March 11 in Saudi Arabia.
