Uzbekistan Super League wrap-up: Nasaf Champions
The Uzbekistan Championship season has ended, with the silver and bronze medalists and the relegated team determined in the final round.
Metallurg, previously in last place, secured a surprising win at Nasaf's stadium, moving up to 13th place. As a result, Lokomotiv, who drew with Neftchi, was relegated to the Pro League. Metallurg, along with Olimpik, who lost to Surkhon, will compete in the play-offs against Pro League teams Kokand-1912 and Shurtan.
OKMK claimed silver medals for the first time by defeating Kyzylkum at home. In the valley derby in Namangan, Navbahor scored in the 90th+7th minute to avoid defeat against Andijan, securing their 11th bronze medal. Sogdiana, who lost to Dinamo, dropped to 4th place and missed out on medals.
Bunyodkor defeated Pakhtakor in the Tashkent derby and managed to stay in the top division. Dragan Cheran of Pakhtakor became the Super League's top scorer with 13 goals.
