16 types of licenses and permits abolished for Uzbek entrepreneurs
From March 1, 16 types of licenses and permits for business entities will be abolished in Uzbekistan, the press service of the Ministry of Justice reports. A total of almost 350 billion soums per year will remain at the disposal of entrepreneurs.
7 types of authorization documents are completely abolished, such as the permit for transportation of goods upon inclusion in the register of customs carriers.
8 types of permits are canceled by combining them. In particular, the permit for export of export control objects and the license for export and import of specific goods are merged.
3 types of licenses and permits are being transferred to the notification format. For example, it will now be possible to engage in the activities of a travel agent without a license.
Additionally, remote assessment of license and permit applicants via video link is permitted.
The requirement to deposit $15,000 in the Safe Tourism Fund for outbound tourism is also abolished.
Legal entities may now choose the place where they wish to have their vehicles inspected. Prior to that, they had to undergo technical inspection in places established by internal affairs bodies.
As a result of the introduction of these changes, a total of almost 350 billion soums per year will remain at the disposal of entrepreneurs.
