Volleyball tournament kicks off for probationers in Tashkent
A briefing was held at the Tashkent City Department of Internal Affairs regarding the Tashkent City stage of the Minister of Internal Affairs Cup in volleyball, organized for individuals under the supervision of probation departments. The event was attended by the head of the city’s probation department, the executive director of the Tashkent City Volleyball Federation, and representatives from each district.
A sports tournament is being held to support the implementation of the Presidential Resolutions “On the Widespread Introduction of a Healthy Lifestyle and Further Development of Mass Sports” and “On Measures to Increase Youth Participation in Mass Sports at the Neighborhood Level.” A total of 109 participants from 12 districts are taking part in the event. During the briefing, teams were divided into groups by drawing lots. The first and second round matches will take place on May 8 and 10. The final match will be held on May 11 at the Jar Sports Complex.
For reference, the prize-winning teams in the competition will receive diplomas (1st, 2nd, and 3rd place), medals, and valuable souvenirs.
