Abdulla Kodiriy's works translated into Arabic

Abdulla Kodiriy, the founder of the Uzbek National Novel School, is widely studied internationally. His scientific heritage is translated into various languages for readers around the world. Recently, two of his masterpieces, “Days Gone By” and “Scorpion in the Pulpit” were translated into Arabic and published in Saudi Arabia. Recently, an event was held at the creative school named after Abdulla Kodiriy to present these books.

Writers, poets, translators, members of the Kodiri generation, readers, Uzbekistan's ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Nodirjon Turgunov, and Majid al-Turkiy, chairman of the Saudi Arabia Center for Information and Arab-Russian Studies, participated in a video conference event. The speakers discussed Qadiri's scientific heritage and the importance of translating his works into other languages for wider readership.  Professor Muhammad Nasruddin al-Jibali from Egypt University and Sadat Academy translated the book “Days Gone By” into Arabic, while Said Mahmud Said Mubashshir, translated the novel “Scorpion in the Pulpit” . Both translations were published in 1,000 copies by the Saudi Arabia Center for Information and Arab-Russian Studies.

Said Mahmud Said Mubashshir, who translated the novel “Scorpion in the Pulpit” into Arabic, mentioned that translating the author's works is challenging due to his unique style.

During the event, participants shared their thoughts on Abdulla Kodiri's works and received answers to their questions. For reference, “Days Gone By” and “Scorpion in the Pulpit” have been translated into English and Chinese as well.
