CEI reorganized into Center for Economic Research and Reforms
The Center for Economic Researches has been reorganized into the Center for Economic Researches and Reforms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A corresponding resolution was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 3.
The Center for Economic Research has been reorganized into the Center for Economic Researches and Reforms under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. A corresponding resolution was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on October 3.
The document defines the main objectives of the Centre. The President instructed to organize an open innovation platform on the principle of "open space" on the basis of the Center in order to establish effective inter-sectoral and interdepartmental interaction of state bodies and organizations, analytical and research centers, local executive authorities, business entities, representatives of civil society and the expert community, and other stakeholders, providing for:
- the creation of a special portal on the Internet for the interaction of state bodies with the public and the scientific community, including through the conduct of social surveys, the introduction of feedback mechanisms of society and the state, as well as the discussion of emerging problems in the socio-economic sphere;
- formation of research groups from among specialists in the relevant areas, mainly from the private sector, for the purpose of wide discussion of developed initiatives and projects of normative legal acts on reforming of the social and economic sphere, as well as ensuring consideration of interests of all interested parties.
