Gold accounts for 50% of Uzbekistan`s total exports
According to the data provided, Uzbekistan exported $5.8 billion worth of gold between January-August, having surged by 147.2% compared to the reporting period last year. The share of gold in total exports comprised 50%.
State Statistics Committee has revealed updated numbers for Uzbekistan`s trade turnover for the past 8 months of 2020.
According to the data provided, Uzbekistan exported $5.8 billion worth of gold between January-August, having surged by 147.2% compared to the reporting period last year. The share of gold in total exports comprised 50%.
To date, Uzbekistan has trade relations with more than 160 countries of the world.
Trade turnover over the past eight months amounted to $24.5 billion, $3.5 billion down year-on-year.
The share of exports made up $11.6 billion, imports – $12.9 billion.
