Shavkat Mirziyoyev opens "Zarafshon Oyna" enterprise in Navoi

During the visit of the President to Navoi region, a ceremony dedicated to the launch of the "Zarafshon Oyna" enterprise was held.
It is noted that the demand for construction glass in the republic is 38 million square meters per year. Navoi region is rich in decorative stone, quartz sand, basalt and kaolin reserves.

Therefore, during his visit to the region in 2018, the head of state gave instructions to start glass production. To date, a $250 million project has been completed as directed.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev pressed the symbolic button and launched the "Zarafshon Oyna" enterprise.- Until now, there were such enterprises in Fergana and Jizzakh. Here, the newly established "Zarafshon Oyna" enterprise, specializing in the production of a wide range of products, is joining their ranks. We believe that it will further develop and serve our people in the future, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The annual production capacity of the enterprise is 12 million square meters. The products are intended for export as well as import substitution. 700 people are employed here.

At the event, the company "Marmarabad" in the city of Ghazgon was contacted through video communication. It specializes in mining and processing marble and granite stones. Equipment was imported from China and Iran, and engineers and specialists were involved. 300 people are employed. 

The head of our state got acquainted with the activity of Hydro Stanko Servis Limited Liability Company in Navoi.
Navoi region is an industrialized area. There are many mining, metallurgical, chemical, and energy enterprises here. In general, the industry and agriculture of our country always need machine-building products.
"Hydro Stanko Servis" produces exactly these. More than 100 devices and more than a thousand types of spare parts are localized here through cooperation. As a result, in 2021, more than 12 million dollars of foreign exchange funds were saved. By the end of this year, the amount of production is expected to be 23 million dollars.
Equipment was installed at the enterprise from Germany, Turkey, Italy and China. 370 people are employed.
Today, the company is working on establishing a casting shop and increasing the range of products.
The President gave orders to officials to increase the level of localization.
Today, 113 projects worth about 1 trillion soums are being implemented in the Navoi region as part of the localization program. As a result of this, import reduction of 100 million dollars will be achieved this year.
