On May 14-17, a delegation led by President of Siemens Russia and Central Asia, Dietrich Möller visited Uzbekistan. During the visit, he participated in meetings with representatives of ministries and departments, as well as business partners of the company. The main topics of discussions were current and future joint projects in the energy, industrial and other sectors.
Last November, Siemens and Uzbekistan announced the launch of a large-scale cooperation program. Then, parties signed agreements on a technological partnership in the field of the fuel and energy complex, smart cities (digitalization of urban infrastructure) and public health services. “Siemens sees the country as one of the promising markets in Central Asia and expects to start implementing joint projects in the near future” said Dietrich Moeller.
