UzAuto Motors announces price increase for Damas, Labo, and Chevrolet Cobalt Cars
UzAuto Motors will raise prices for Damas, Labo, and Chevrolet Cobalt cars by 3.5–6.7%. The new prices for specific models are as follows:
- Cobalt GS-Style Plus MT: 133,598,000 soums (previously 125,210,000 soums)
- Cobalt GX-Style Plus AT: 156,589,000 soums (previously 146,757,000 soums)
- Damas D2 DLX Style Plus: 100,325,000 soums (previously 96,932,000 soums)
- Labo LB2 Plus: 98,779,000 soums (previously 96,370,000 soums)
Late payment from previous contracts has allowed UzAuto Motors to release additional vehicles for 2024, and the company will announce the contract opening date later.
Furthermore, UzAuto Motors plans to implement a new car sales system, providing dealers with the opportunity to purchase vehicles at a recommended retail price. This approach promotes competition between dealerships and improves service quality. The automaker suspended sales of Cobalt, Lacetti, Damas, and Labo models at the end of 2022 and has reopened and suspended sales multiple times since then.
In October 2023, Damas, Labo, Lacetti, and Cobalt prices had already increased by approximately 5.1%. In December, the company temporarily halted sales and contracted 171,000 cars in three days, representing the entire production volume for 2024.
