Uzbekistan GTL diesel fuel meets Euro-6 environmental standard
Uzbekistan GTL has begun production of premium synthetic diesel fuel that fully complies with the high requirements of the European environmental standard Euro-6 (EN15940) and the national standard O'zDSt EN15940:2022.
For your information, Euro 6, adopted in 2015, is considered the latest environmental standard that defines even more requirements for the exhaust gases of cars with diesel and gasoline engines. First of all, this concerns the content of nitrogen oxides emitted by diesel engines into the atmosphere.
The results of independent laboratory tests conducted on July 1 confirmed the compliance of all parameters of the diesel produced by GTL with the requirements of international and national standards.
“The world leader in independent expertise, the Swiss company SGS, has confirmed the quality of synthetic diesel fuel produced by Uzbekistan GTL to the high requirements of the European environmental standard Euro-6,” the Ministry of Energy said in a statement.
Earlier, the central laboratory of the Uzbekistan GTL plant, accredited by the Uzbek Accreditation Center (O'ZAK.SL.0208), also received confirmation of the compliance of the produced GTL synthetic diesel fuel with the requirements of the standards.
Uzbekistan GTL premium synthetic diesel fuel is sold through the trading platforms of the Uzbek Republican Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange (UzEX).
It is noted that the capacity of the Uzbekistan GTL plant can produce up to 1 million tons of diesel fuel per year.
