Uzbekistan imports $475mn worth cars in 2020
Kazakhstan still remains the main market for domestic cars. More than 10,000 cars are exported to the neighbouring country. The top three also include Azerbaijan and Ukraine.
Uzbekistan imported 2.2 times more vehicles in 2020, than it exported, according to the state statistics committee.
$475.1mn worth of cars were imported to the country during the reporting period. Exports amounted to $208.7mn.
In the meantime, exports grew by 30%, with import growth declining to 7%.
