UZEX and ETS discuss joint trading issues
The Uzbek exchange got acquainted with the trading infrastructure, the mechanism of exchange trading and settlement and clearing services of the ETS.
The delegation of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange paid a working visit to Kazakhstan within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement with JSC "Commodity exchange "ETS".
The delegation included Aziz Abduganiev - Director for advanced development, Nikolay Davydenko-Head of the exchange, Behzod Dehkanov-Head of information technology development department. The main purpose of the visit was to discuss in detail the practical implementation of the joint agreement.
The Uzbek exchange got acquainted with the trading infrastructure, the mechanism of exchange trading and settlement and clearing services of the ETS. Visitors were also shown the ETS tender system, which covers a significant part of e-procurement of the commercial segment in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Along with this, the parties considered the stages of integration of trading systems and preparation for a pilot joint stock trading. In particular, members of the working group studied the current practice of concluding export-import contracts in OTC markets of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, discussed the draft rules of exchange transactions in UZEX and ETS.
