Financial Aid and Allowances for Low-Income Families

The financial aid and allowance procedures, as outlined in Cabinet of Ministers' decision No. 654 dated October 21, 2021, rely on the "Single Register of Social Protection" information system to identify and provide support to low-income families. These families are eligible for financial aid and allowances according to the regulation governing low-income families.

A family qualifies as low-income when their average monthly income doesn't surpass the minimum essential expenses per family member, making them eligible for the relevant social benefits.

The monthly child allowance amounts to:

  • 250,000 soums for children aged 3 to 18, and 325,000 soums for children under 3.
  • An additional 150,000 soums for the second child.
  • For the third and subsequent children, a starting amount of 100,000 soums per child.

Furthermore, low-income families receive a monthly material assistance of 380,000 soums.
