Eight Uzbek Football Clubs Face Punishment

Eight Uzbek football clubs will face punishment for not meeting regulations, according to the Uzbekistan Professional Football League. The issue revolves around the requirement (clause 10.18) for Superleague clubs to use a device allowing remote monitoring of players during official matches, with a report submitted to UEFA.

This practice is common among coaches, but due to a lack of attention from Uzbek experts, the regulation was added to ensure compliance. The report is crucial for analyzing players' conditions, especially for the UFA national teams. However, during the 2023 season, national team coaches encountered difficulties.

Eight Super League clubs displayed a lack of commitment to this rule. OKMK and Nasaf clubs lack the required device. Bunyodkor, Navbahor, Metallurg, Bukhara, and Neftchi clubs failed to submit reports to UFA experts. Andijan only provided a report for the first round, neglecting subsequent rounds.

As per the President's Decree (December 4, 2019), the UFA provided each Super League club with 36 pieces of equipment from Fittogether for free use in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. Despite this, some clubs did not adhere to modern requirements, hindering the full analysis of player conditions.

Throughout the season, football clubs showed indifference to regulations. The case will be forwarded to the relevant committee based on the UFA's official objection. If a club submits an existing report before the committee's meeting, the sanction may be lighter.
