Israeli ophthalmologists to conduct free surgery in Uzbekistan

A delegation of ophthalmologists from leading Israeli clinics intend to conduct free surgeries, training sessions in Uzbekistan from 12 to 19 May.

The visit is organized with the support of the Ministry of Health of Uzbekistan and is a practical result of negotiations of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Israel with the founder of the charitable medical organization "Eye from Zion", Nati Markus.

"Eye from Zion", acting as the chief coordinator of the humanitarian mission, specializes in the organization of ophthalmological missions of Israel in the developing countries. It conducts surgeries ranging from vision correction to the treatment of cataracts and other more complex eye diseases.
