Italian-Uzbek partnership boosts cultural exchange: rare objects exhibit in Italian museums
Italian museums hold exhibitions of rare objects from Uzbekistan. The Uzbek Art and Culture Development Foundation has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Culture.
Uzbek artifacts will be showcased in Italian museums through exhibitions. The exhibitions will be held at the famous Uffizi Gallery in Florence and at Ca Foscari University in Venice. The foundation and the ministry also decided to jointly conduct research and exchange experiences on the restoration and preservation of museum collections. Uzbekistan and Italy will set up a research laboratory for the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage objects.
