Korean College of Technology and Culture to be opened at Samarkand International University of Technology

The rector of Samarkand International University of Technology, Professor Yusuf Abdullayev, during his visit to South Korea, this university and a number of leading educational institutions and research institutes, in particular, Hanguk University of Foreign Languages, Silk Road University Network, Institute of Asian Culture and Development , memorandums of cooperation were signed between the Korean Management Information System Society. In the near future, it was agreed to conclude a cooperation agreement with the Korea Institute of Advanced Science and Technology.

On the basis of these memorandums, cooperation will be established with South Korean partners in the fields of technological engineering, "green" energy, information technologies, and the Korean language at the Samarkand International University of Technology.

In addition, it was agreed to open the Korean College of Technology and Culture at the Samarkand International University of Technology. This college, which will start operating in January 2023, will train specialists in "green" energy (renewable energy), information technology programmers, design (industrial, economic, construction design) and Korean language.

The Institute of Asian Culture and Development undertakes the task of providing this college with qualified teachers. Hwang Sung Don, director of the Silk Road University network, heads this college.

The parties will also jointly develop joint educational programs that meet modern requirements, promote mutual training of university teachers and professors and student exchange, study materials, research projects, articles, and library resources. uses, organizes joint conferences, seminars and master classes.

Leading teachers and specialists working in leading educational and scientific-technical centers in America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Africa, including compatriots working in foreign countries, were invited to work at the educational center.

Currently, a total area of 6 hectares of land near the Zarafshan river has been allocated in the city of Samarkand for the establishment of a university campus. By the next academic year, a 5-story educational building with 1000 seats, a student residence, a laboratory, a gym, a library, a residential building for foreign teachers and other facilities will be built here.
