Majority of Uzbek telegram users trust platform for news
A study conducted by Insight Business surveyed 6,000 Uzbek users of the Telegram messenger. The study revealed that 54% of respondents trust information they find on Telegram. The majority of users spend 1-3 hours on the platform and nearly 60% follow news channels. Additionally, most users are based in Tashkent. Telegram is highly popular in Uzbekistan, with estimates suggesting between 18 million to 24 million users from the country.
