New electric buses in Tashkent reduce 1.2 thousand tons of toxic gases
From April 10 to May 10, "Clean Air" month is being held throughout Uzbekistan to reduce the emission of toxic gases from vehicles into the atmosphere.
223 new buses and electric buses brought to Tashkent from China serve to reduce toxic emissions in the air because these means of public transport are environmentally safe.
New vehicles are moving in more than 1000 directions in the capital. As a result, the amount of toxic gases released into the atmosphere will be reduced by an average of 1.2 thousand tons a year.
In February 2022, 20 environmentally friendly, comfortable, and modern electric buses made in China were brought to Tashkent. It is planned to purchase 673 more electric buses by 2025.
