From May 1, residents will start paying for energy resources differentiated based on social norms.
However, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers on the "Rules of Electricity Use", a household consumer can make prepayments for electricity use at their discretion for a period not exceeding 2 months, and the value will not be recalculated in case of tariff changes.
The same rule is defined in the "Rules for the use of natural gas". It states that in case of tariff changes, a consumer who has prepaid for the volume of natural gas will be exempted from additional payments for a period not exceeding 2 months.
However, the tariff for customers who are in debt or who ran out of funds at the beginning of May and have to make a new payment will be changed and will be invoiced respectively according to the new tariff.
