Uzbekistan reveals PISA 2022 results
Results of Uzbekistan's PISA 2022 study were announced during an international conference held in collaboration with the Ministry of Pre-school and School Education, the National Research Institute named after Abdulla Avloni, and the World Bank, and the OECD.
The study revealed that 15-year-old students in Uzbekistan scored a total of 364 points in mathematics. Boys outperformed girls, and urban schools performed better than rural schools.
Addressing the findings, Minister Hilola Umarova acknowledged areas for improvement in mathematics but expressed determination to address these issues. "Among our achievements, we have some problems, but our intention is to use all possibilities to eliminate these shortcomings. We rely on the knowledge and potential of our qualified specialists and hardworking teachers," she stated.
