Uzbekistan tightens quarantine restrictions since July 10

Uzbekistan`s Anti-Coronavirs Commission has announced the strengthening of quarantine measures in the country.

  • From July 10 of this year, the following restrictions are in effect across the country:
  • traffic will be restricted.
  • the work of employees of public agencies will be organized as remotely as possible;
  • it is forbidden to hold meetings in state structures and enterprises;
  • cultural and festive events are banned;
  • it is forbidden to hold wedding events;
  • people aged over 65 are not allowed in public places.

b) the operation of the following facilities is suspended:

  • parks and attractions;
  • large markets;
  • sports halls, fitness clubs, swimming pools;
  • all types of educational institutions;
  • restaurants, cafes, etc.;
  • motels, guest houses, beaches, resorts, etc.;

c) new requirements for international air transportation are established:

- the number of flights from foreign countries is reduced by half;

- drivers of trucks serving international cargo transportation will be required to pass the Covid-19 test.
