In early July, the popularity of mobile VPN began to grow again in Uzbekistan. It is at this time when users have started experiencing lags on Facebook.
Since August, individual users have started reporting problems accessing Instagram. This is confirmed by data from the Downdetector service.
This is not the first time that VPN popularity has been growing in Uzbekistan amid problems with access to websites. The situation was similar in the fall of 2018. In January 2019, the problems were resolved.
