Amendments and additions were made to the Decree "On measures to regulate the extraction of non-metallic materials in water bodies. According to the document, an unlimited moratorium will be imposed on the extraction of non-metallic materials in the Syrdarya riverbed.
According to the Decree, from May 1, 2024, an indefinite moratorium will be imposed on the extraction of non-metallic materials in the Syrdarya River bed, and the responsibility for the damage caused to nature as a result of illegal extraction of non-metallic materials will be strengthened.
Measures will be implemented to strengthen the shores of the Syrdarya River, restore and rehabilitate damaged lands in the coastal strips.
