The loan is expected to be approved in early August this year.
Deputy Prime Minister-Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Sardor Umurzakov held talks with the President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Masatsugu Asakawa via videoconference on July 13.
The ADB President said that preparations are currently being completed to approve a new loan worth $100 million to modernize and equip the health system and sanitary and epidemiological service of Uzbekistan.
The loan is expected to be approved in early August this year.
The Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank will co-finance the project through allocating $100 million.
