A free inter-terminal bus "shuttle-bus" was launched at the Tashkent airport
A bus service has been launched between the domestic and international terminals of the Tashkent airport. A low-floor bus with a UzPort sticker will run daily from 05:00 to 23:30.
It is noted that the decision to organize a free inter-terminal shuttle bus was made on the basis of numerous requests from passengers to somehow connect the terminals with each other.
“It happens that people make mistakes and come to the wrong terminal. The distance between the terminals in the city is about 4 km. Of the fast transport, only a taxi, the prices for which are not always acceptable for all categories of citizens. Given this situation, Uzbekistan Airports decided to launch a shuttle bus in test mode,” the press service of the management company explained.
In the terminal of international airlines, the bus will drive to the line allocated for buses in the parking lot near the departure hall, in the local one it will drive up to the entrance to the terminal.
“The shuttle bus services can be used by everyone absolutely free of charge,” Uzbekistan Airports concluded.
