Hot water and heating prices to rise in capital
This is the first tariff increase for the population since 2019
According to the press service of Veolia Energy, new tariffs will come into force the next day after the official end date of the autumn-winter heating season (2023-2024). Details are in the following report.
This is the first tariff increase for the population since 2019. The corresponding decision was made by the city council of the People’s Deputies. New tariffs apply to citizens living in multi-storey buildings. Veolia Energy noted that the increase was caused by rising prices for electricity, gas, drinking water supply, and sewerage services, as well as the purchase of thermal energy for heat generating enterprises. The new retail tariff for heat provision and hot water supply services for the population will increase by 15% and account fot 105,754 soum per gigacalorie instead of 91,960 soum per gigacalorie.
