At the Uzsungwoo joint venture in Fergana, a hot metal processing line with a project value of 10 million dollars, the only one in Central Asia, was launched with a ceremonial event.
The workshop is fully automated, operating on the basis of the latest technologies, with steel coil sizing, hot pressing, and laser cutting equipment manufactured by the world's leading engineering companies, such as Schuler, Prima Power, Benteler and Aotto. installed.
As a result of the launch of the new line, the annual production volume of the enterprise will reach 95 million dollars. Adoption of this technological process, the only one in Central Asia, made it possible to localize 20 types of components for Tracker and Onix cars produced in our country. The hot metal processing line produces 2.4 million products worth more than $19 million annually.
120 new jobs were created as a result of the launch of the project, which was launched at the beginning of this year.Since its establishment in 2012, the joint venture of Uzsungwoo LLC has invested nearly 60 million dollars in our region. The enterprise, which has a strong position in the automobile industry of Uzbekistan, has been producing more than 300 names of stamped-welded parts for large and medium-sized cars produced in our country for 10 years. The number of employees at the enterprise has exceeded 900.
