Information and communication sector's share in GDP increases
According to preliminary data from the Statistics Agency, Uzbekistan’s information and communication sector generated 36.9 trillion soums in added value in 2024, making up 2.7% of the country's GDP. This marks a 0.4% increase compared to the previous year. Tashkent recorded the highest share of the sector in the Gross Regional Product.
