Investment projects worth more than $7 BLN planned in Fergana
The head of state got acquainted with new investment projects to be implemented in Ferghana region.
More than a thousand projects worth 1.3 billion dollars are being implemented in the region this year. Currently, foreign investors and local entrepreneurs have formed 132 projects worth over 7 billion dollars. Of these, 25 projects worth 2.1 billion dollars were presented to the head of state.
For example, in Uchkuprik district together with Chinese investors a project on production of ceramic plates worth 50 million dollars will be implemented. As a result, 500 new jobs will be created. In Kuva district, together with Saudi investors, the production of spare parts for heating and cooling systems will be organized. Upon completion of the 50-million-dollar project, 350 people will be employed.
As a result of the implementation of 132 projects, more than 23 thousand people will be employed.
The President gave additional instructions to the responsible persons to speed up the creation of the organizational and legal basis for the projects and to ensure all conditions for investors.
