Nokia Solutions Vice President expresses readiness to join Council of Foreign Investors

On April 12, the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade held a meeting with a delegation of Finland, headed by Markku Keynenen - Deputy Secretary of State for Foreign Economic Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting was devoted to the establishment of partnerships between the two countries. The head of the delegation noted that Uzbekistan, being the largest center for attracting investment and trade in the Central Asian region, is currently the object of attention of the largest European companies. The economic reforms carried out in the country have opened the borders for foreign capital, which in turn, along with an extensive market and developed infrastructure, is the basis for the dynamic development of the economy. 

The heads of major Finnish companies in the field of IT, electronics, technological production, pharmaceuticals and agriculture, who attended the meeting, also shared their expectations and plans for activities in the country. In particular, the Vice-President of Nokia Solutions expressed readiness to join the Council of Foreign Investors, a unique platform that allows establishing a direct dialogue between the government and existing and potential foreign investors.
