UzAuto Motors to release 16 Chevrolet Tracker-2 cars for test drive

UzAuto Motors will release 16 Chevrolet Tracker-2 cars for a test drive that will be subjected to withstand the most difficult road and climate tests.

At the UzAuto Motors plant in Asaka, the next stage of preparations for the launch of a new generation Chevrolet Tracker-2 car into serial production has begun, the car makers’ press service reports.

The current stage of the test release of Tracker is called ‘Non-saleable’.

The production of vehicles that are not intended for sale allows you to work out all the necessary production processes and test them in real assembly conditions.

As part of this stage of preparation for the launch of the Tracker, 16 vehicles will be produced, which will then be subjected to the most difficult road and climate tests during testing.

“All stages of preparation for launching into production and testing are going according to plan, no serious shortcomings have been identified,” said Tolibjon Samsakov, project manager.

As previously reported, UzAuto Motors plans to start production of the Chevrolet Tracker-2 this summer.

The vehicle equipment includes LED daytime running lights, a colour screen instrument panel, an 8-inch Chevrolet MyLink touch screen, a 6-speaker audio system, a multifunction steering wheel, air conditioning, keyless entry and start of the engine, a panoramic sunroof, power and heated rear-view mirrors, front and rear power windows.

The Chevrolet Tracker-2 security suite includes frontal airbags, front-row side and curtain airbags, a rearview camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system, an electronic stability program (ESP), an anti-lock braking system (ABS), an assistance system hill start (HSA), rear parking sensors, as well as Isofix child seat mounts
