Uzbek-French business forum results in signing $5bn worth agreements
French entrepreneurs highly appreciated the economic reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, stressed that the liberalization of the monetary system, the simplification of the visa procedure have created favorable opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation
President Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with the heads of largest French companies.
It was attended by the heads of leading companies of the European and world markets, financial structures such as Total, Total Eren, Orano, Fives Stein, Rungis Semmaris, Vinci, Suez, SAD, Idemia, Mercier, Thales Alenia Space, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, French Development Agency and others.
French entrepreneurs highly appreciated the economic reforms carried out in Uzbekistan, stressed that the liberalization of the monetary system, the simplification of the visa procedure have created favorable opportunities for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation. Such facilities and preferences have increased interest in the economy of Uzbekistan. This was evidenced by the signing of agreements on investment projects worth some 5 billion euros on the eve of this visit.
