Uzbekistan to spend millions of dollars to automate electricity metering system
The Asian Development Bank will also provide around $200mn for the implementation of the automated system.
Uzbekistan intends to spend around $457.8mn to automate electricity metering system, according to legislation database Norma.uz.
The project will be funded by the following sources: electricity regulator will spend $913,000, $250,000 loan will be allocated by the ministry of finance, Uzpromstroybank will disburse loans worth over $62,000.
The Asian Development Bank will also provide around $200mn for the implementation of the automated system.
The feasibility study of the project has already been approved by the ministry of finance and the ministry of investment and foreign trade.
