Uzbekistan is set to host the Tashkent International Investment Forum 2025 from June 10-12. The forum is expected to attract more than 3,000 participants including, high-profile investors, global business leaders, and government officials to discuss economic cooperation and sign strategic agreements. Ahead of the upcoming event, a briefing was held with the participation of Uzbekistan’s Minister of Trade, Industry, and Investments, Laziz Kudratov to outline the country's economic priorities, investment climate, and upcoming opportunities for foreign businesses.

As emphasized by the Minister, at last year’s forum, Uzbekistan secured $26.6 billion in investment agreements, demonstrating the country’s growing appeal to foreign investors. Over the past three forums, a total of $44 billion worth of deals have been signed, covering more than 350 key investment projects. So, how many of these projects are fully operational and producing positive results now?

One of the key themes of this year’s forum will be sustainable investments, particularly in renewable energy, logistics, and the high-tech sector. The government is expected to announce new bilateral agreements, unveil large-scale projects, and present incentives for foreign businesses to enter the Uzbek market. Moreover, Minister Laziz Kudratov announced that, in addition to investment discussions, a large-scale exhibition will also be organized.

Additionally, it was stated that a portfolio of project proposals worth $20 billion has been formed. With Uzbekistan’s economy growing rapidly, Tashkent International Investment Forum 2025 is set to be key milestone in shaping the country's future economic landscape.
